Gilbert Lights Up for the Holidays
The Town Hall lawn is now a festive display of holiday décor, after Gilbert’s 5th Annual Nights of Lights celebration which was hosted on November 30th. Hundreds of residents gathered for food, entertainment, and a glimpse of the elaborate display. They enjoyed musical performances featuring children’s choirs from local schools, carriage rides, and a visit from Santa.
With the help of two small children, Mayor John Lewis flipped the switch to activate the display around the pond and lawn during the event. Gilbert’s Holiday Nights of Lights is presented by Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, sponsored by IKEA, JEL and SRP, and produced by the Gilbert Community Services Department.
For those who may have missed the lighting event, the festive scene will be up for all to appreciate every evening from 5pm-10pm until January 3rd. Gilbert Town Hall invites residents to continue to enjoy the decorations.
